Database interoperability

VPv6 has a powerful new wizard for importing data from Excel files and queries on Access databases. Start the wizard from the main menu (File/Import Database Table) or from the opening dialog box.

When importing from an Excel file with multiple sheets or from an Access database, choose the sheet, table or query that contains the data to be imported. The following illustrates importing a query from an Access database.

Next, tailor the import field by field - take the whole cell as the data element, extract data from multi-valued fields, or apply the NLP parser.

Finally, save your selections as an Import Filter that can be reused and shared with other VP users.
